Charley's not an authority, historian nor a scholar of the Will Rogers legacy. He's just a cowboy at heart with the spirit of the Westerner in his soul who hails from the eastern farm hills of Kansas. He thought this book would be a pretty good way to bring some of his favorite Will Rogers quotes to today's public and toss in a story or two of his own.

Will Rogers embraced life; its opportunities and utilized his God given talents and gifts for the benefit of others. He presented simple, honest, humorous and powerful messages, sprinkled with the timeless values and principles as he lived them.

Charley presents many of Will's messages and quotes in a way that relates to today's generation and stirs the memories of earlier generations. He interweaves his own related stories and lessons, laced with humor into a thought provoking and rewarding presentation.
