Uncle Charley's a great one for trying to keep things simple, make a point folks will understand and give `em something to take home. He works at making sense, common sense and tries not to talk in mystifying terms.
Although he speaks in a down home style with a western accent, it's not to be confused with the good ol' boy image (often negative) so often spoken of in business or the press. He's not part of the good ol' boy network nor does he want to be as often as not that network can be a bit discriminating to those outside the circle.
Like Uncle Charley, there are many kindred spirits out there who wish to stay in touch with their roots, remain true to themselves and are striving to make a go of it everyday. Their long term goal is to live some of their dreams and bring prosperity into their homes for family and loved ones to share.
He hopes by writing his thoughts and stories for others to read, one of `em will generate an idea, solve a problem and wind up helping to create a better life for some reader, their family and community.
Uncle Charley thinks many of us are better at "preaching a message than we are at working the lesson."
